Introduction.

I’ve been involved in some aspect of the construction industry for over thirty years, starting with earning a degree in Construction Engineering from Purdue University. Since then I've worked for large commercial building firms but have been self-employed most of that time doing residential projects as well as developing software applications for construction management and estimating.

With that diverse work experience, I've developed many skills in design, business, technology, and marketing and offer consulting services to the construction industry and other fields. My abilities in research, planning, and writing can also be leveraged to business development, problem solving, forecasting, and systems development.

With robotics, 3D printing, AI, and other automation coming on line, it's hard to say what the construction industry will look like in ten years, but keeping up with new developments will be increasingly important along with the challenges of a tight labor force and increasingly stringent environmental requirements. Staying current with and perhaps leading emerging technologies and trends will undoubtedly provide significant returns to the companies that do so successfully.

These are just a few areas of business that are often overlooked in day-to-day operations but will play a major role in a company’s future. There are certainly many challenges with all the changes and unknowns that lie ahead, and with them many opportunities.

I look forward to hearing from you to discuss how I might assist your company.
